Using One Good Place
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. You must provide accurate account details, protect access to your account and be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for activity made through your account.
Share good places honestly
Add places you genuinely recommend. Use accurate names and locations, explain why the place matters and upload only photographs you have the right to share. Do not post spam, paid promotion without disclosure, false visits, duplicate places or manipulated votes.
Your content
You keep ownership of your stories and photos. By publishing them, you give One Good Place a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce and adapt them only as needed to operate, improve and promote the service. You can ask us to remove your content.
Safety and moderation
Do not publish illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, dangerous or privacy-invasive content. Do not reveal a private home or another person's sensitive location without permission. We may review, hide or remove content and suspend accounts to protect the community or comply with law.
Points and visits
Points, badges, quests and rankings are game features. They have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred and may change as the game evolves. A map recommendation is a friend's opinion, not a promise that a place is open, accessible or safe. Check local conditions and use good judgement when visiting.
Service availability
We work to keep One Good Place useful and available, but provide it as-is and cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect location accuracy or that every recommendation will suit you. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the service or a visit to a listed place.
Changes
We may update these terms as the community grows. We will update the date here and give reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
